A THETFORD rapper has got a taste of the big time after his single was played on national radio.

Frankie Dean, 26, who performs under the name Franko Fraize, had his single, Watch How I’m Moving, picked for Radio 1’s Introducing playlist.

That meant primetime airplay for the track, with it debuting on Fearne Cotton’s show on Monday.

Despite getting the good news in December, Frankie said he thought it was a practical joke.

“I thought it was a wind-up, even when I got an email from Radio 1. “The last few days have been mad and I’ve had loads of people getting in touch about it,” he said.

Frankie hopes the exposure will help him get to the next step in his career.

“I just need some backing now to tour and get in the studio,” he said.

Next up for Frankie is an appearance on Radio 1 Xtra and he has a new single in the pipeline.
