Four arrests after town centre injury

FOUR men have been arrested after a man suffered serious head injuries in a disturbance at a hotel.

Police were called to The Bell Hotel, in High Street, Mildenhall, after reports of a disturbance at about 9.40pm on Saturday.

They arrested a 42-year-old and a 44-year-old from Mildenhall, a 46-year-old from the Thetford area and a 25-year-old from the Brandon area.

A 42-year-old man was treated for head injuries by paramedics before he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.

All three men have now been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on April 3.

Police would like to hear from anyone with information on the incident. Calls should be made to 101.
