Former Smith And Wareham kitchen makers reunite to launch new business in the Bury St Edmunds area

Kitchen makers Stuart Grainger and Jamie Hudson who both worked together at Smith and Wareham have reunited to launch a new firm.

The duo who bring 30 years of industry experience both left Smith and Wareham to run their own businesses three years ago.

“Although we had our own businesses I would call Jamie to lend me a hand and he would call me if he needed someone to help him out,” said Stuart.

“We just decided to make it more formal by going into business together.”

Now the duo have launched Suffolk Handmade Kitchens (SHK) offering a wide range of quality bespoke kitchens, cabinets and furniture.

They make the kitchens from scratch from their workshop in a converted barn in Higham and only use sustainably sourced wood.
