Forest events on for weekend

THETFORD Forest will be getting in the swing of a national day this weekend.

Forest Discovery Day is taking place across the country on Sunday and Thetford Forest is holding a number of events.

At High Lodge Forest Centre from 10am until 4pm there will be activities including a ‘find the archaeology’ game, an animal footprints’ quiz, a forest quiz and guided walks.

There will also be a free draw with £500 of attractions at High Lodge up for grabs.

At Lynford Arboretum, Mundford, there will be a children’s dinosaur tree trail.
