Five injured in two-vehicle crash
Five people have been injured in a two-vehicle crash at the Elveden Crossroads.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision involving a Toyota and a VW car at the crossroads between the B1106 and A11 today (January 5) at around 2.25pm.
Police, fire and ambulance attended the scene.
The driver of the VW, a 29-year-old man from Coventry, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
The man is currently being held at West Suffolk Hospital.
One of the rear seat passengers of the Toyota sustained leg injuries in the crash and was taken to Addenbrookes, a further rear seat passenger has arm and shoulder injuries and was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
The front seat passenger sustained arm and pelvic injuries and was taken by air ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
The driver sustained leg and facial injuries and was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
The road is closed and diversions are in place whilst the incident is dealt with and vehicles recovered.
Witnesses to this collision are asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
