First National Gardens Scheme openings
The first gardens open their gates for the National Gardens Scheme 2013 this weekend.
The scheme showcases some of the most picturesque gardens in the county while raising money for charities including Macmillan Cancer Care, Marie Curie, Help the Hospices and The Carers Trust.
The first gardens which open on Sunday are:
Blakenham Woodland Garden at Little Blakenham, IP8 4LZ, which is open from 10am to 5pm, admission £3.50, children free.
Gable House, Halesworth Road, Redisham which is open from 11am to 4pm Admission £3.50, children free, light refreshments and homemade teas available.
