Fire crews called to bedroom fire in Wickhambrook

Fire crews were called to a fire in a bedroom in Wickhambrook, last night.

Crews from Wickhambrook and Bury St Edmunds, responding to the call, to discovered that a small fire in a bedroom on the Badmondisfield Estate had been extinguished.

They used breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to check that the fire was completely out.

The stop message was received at 11.30pm and crews returned to the station just after midnight.
