Fire crew tackle chimney blaze in Red Lodge

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to a chimney fire in Red Lodge at 6.53 yesterday evening.

A crew, from Mildenhall, spent more than an hour tackling the fire in Warren Road due to the chimney being awkward.

A 9m ladder and chimney gear were used to extinguish the fire, which was reported under control at 8.08pm.

Their were no casualties or rescues.
