Family furniture firm is the ‘best’ in the UK

FAMILY furniture firm Glasswells in Bury St Edmunds has been named Furniture Retailer of the Year.
It is the sixth time within the last 10 years that the firm has won the title.
“We’re over the moon once again with our Furniture Retailer of the Year Award,” said managing director Paul Glasswell.
“We all constantly work hard to help make the Glasswells shopping experience one to remember and always encourage feedback from our customers. “It’s pleasing that this continues to be recognised.” The prestigious award was judged and presented by AIS (Associated Independent Stores).
The accolade is highlty sought after among other independent retailers.
The competition itself was tought – Glasswells was up against 270 other businesses, all vying for the award.
The criteria for the award included the quality of product, professionalism of staff, product knowledge and customer services.
AIS also looked into the quality of displays in the showroom, the overall perception of the business and the shopping experience for customers.
As well as its headquarters in Newmarket Road, Bury, Glasswell also has a large store in Ipswich and smaller shops in Haverhill and Saffron Walden.
It said the award demonstrates its on-going commitment to offer a huge range of quality products for all tastes and styles.
