Eriswell Road closed after head on collision

Eriswell Road, Eriswell, was closed this morning while fire crews released a woman with leg injuries from her car following a head on collision.

The crash happened just after 9am but firemen using hydraulic cutters took nearly one and a half hours to free the woman.

Police say the road remains closed while the cars, a light Ford 4x4 and the woman’s Jeep Grand Cherokee, are recovered from opposite ditches.
