Election date delays meeting

A PUBLIC meeting to discuss Thetford’s future has been postponed.

The Moving Thetford Forward (MTF) Programme Delivery Panel was due to meet on September 20 but has now been put back to October 4.

The meeting, which will take place at the Keystone Innovation Centre, in Croxton Road, allows residents to quiz members of the MTF board on how plans for the town are progressing.

Agenda topics up for discussion are the bus interchange, the skate park, town square and Pine Close.

Other projects will be discussed at subsequent meetings.

Questions on agenda items can be submitted via the MTF website, through a town or district councillor or by calling 01362 656234. Questions can not be submitted on the day.

Go to www.movingthetfordforward.com for more information.

It was put back to avoid conflict with an upcoming full meeting of Breckland Council, which had itself been moved due to the Thetford Abbey election, scheduled for yesterday.
