Elderly residents get So Active

SO ACTIVE, in partnership with Age UK Suffolk, is running a series of activity sessions on the Moreton Hall estate.

The Fit as a Fiddle sessions will take place at Saxon House over a six-week period, starting on Monday with tai chi, zumba and chi ball.

They have been arranged to help its elderly residents reach a weekly exercise target of two and a half hours.

It follows a recent study by the British Heart Foundation which shows that, for the over 50s, just that amount of light exercise can cut chances of a heart attack later in life.
