Dog returned to Bury St Edmunds owners after being seen falling from a moving van in Essex

A microchipped springer spaniel was returned to Bury St Edmunds owners after police saw her come out of a moving van’s window on the A12 near Great Braxstead, Essex, on Sunday.

Armed police stopped the van and an 18-year-old and 16-year-old were arrested on suspicion of theft, animal cruelty and killing game out of season.

Essex Police said the dog was ‘relatively unharmed’.
