Dentist denies committing fraud against NHS for years

A dentist denied defrauding the NHS when he appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.

Edmund Jaques, 64, of Kennett Place, Kentford, is accused of fraud by false representation between June 2009 and March 2011 at Bury St Edmunds.

It is alleged that Jaques dishonestly made financial gains by submitting multiple FP17 claim forms for patients he had neither seen nor treated.

Jaques was remanded on bail until May 13.
