Creating the technicians of the future

Pupils at Howard Community Primary School had expert advice for their Technology Week last week.

They made bridges, buildings, cars, robots and movies and were advised by real scientists, engineers and builders.

The Bury St Edmunds school sought help from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Ambassadors organisation who sent experts along. Esther Bennett came from the Institute of Physics, John Parker from construction and former BT Engineer Geoff Lea .

Geoff helped them build the mast structures Jonathan Hunter, Kodie Jobson, Harry Evans, Harry Bowling and Jake Salisbury are pictured with above.
