Crash driver still critical following lorry smash on A14 at Haughley

A man who suffered serious head injuries remains critical but stable at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge following an accident on the A14 at Haughley last week.

He was in a silver Vauxhall Insignia that went into the back of a lorry parked in a layby at about 12.10am last Wednesday.

A Suffolk Police spokesman this afternoon (21) confirmed that there has been no change in the man’s condition.
