Council hears crime report

Forty-four crimes were committed in Mildenhall last month - but police had a lucky break in finding the potential culprits.

Mildenhall Parish Council heard at its meeting on Thursday that police had been given four names of the likely perpetrators of 15 of those crimes, mostly related to vandalism at Riverside Middle School, which has had 1,500 of damage since the start of this year.

- MORE shops are set to get on board with the Shopwatch scheme in Mildenhall.

Police are appealing for more shops to get involved and hope to get another 10 Shopwatch radios, in addition to the eight already in use, in circulation across the town.
