Council gives green light to 11 new homes

PLANS for a development of 11 new village homes have been approved by a council committee despite the objections of a parish council.

Croxton Parish Council raised concerns about the sustainability of the project in The Street, which would require the demolition of two houses situated in the village’s conservation area.

But Breckland Council planners ignored their warnings, passing the plans at a meeting of the planning committee on Monday.

Of the 11 buildings, seven are two-storey, replacing the existing one-storey buildings currently occupying the site.
