Council ban on tables and chairs at this year’s Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre

For the first time St Edmundsbury Borough Councils is to ban tables and chairs outside cafes and restaurants on Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, during this year’s Christmas Fayre.

A spokeswoman said it is to prevent anyone getting trampled during the increadingly popular fayre.

It takes place from November 23 to November 25.
