Community group implements ideas
A community group is reaching out to its residents through drama and sport.
The Southgate Community Partnership is organising a Cinderella pantomime for February, to involve people from the Southgate area as crew, writers, actors and dancers.
The leading role has been cast but there is a meeting for anyone who wants to get involved at the Community Centre at 4pm on Wednesday.
In response to complaints of youth antisocial behaviour, the SCP has also organised football training with the Suffolk FA.
The free sessions take place on Tuesdays, until June, on the all-weather pitch at Nowton Park. Call 01284 703705.
