Collision closes A11 as man hurt
The A11 was closed earlier today after a man was hurt in a two vehicle collision.
A white Citroen Berlingo and a black Mercedes C180 were involved in the incident, which took place near the Sainsbury’s roundabout in Thetford at around 1.30pm.
The male driver of the Citroen was trapped in the collision and had to be freed by firefighters.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious or life threatening.
The road was closed from the roundabout to Elveden until around 4pm.
