The founder of the Clandestine Cake Club (CCC) has written a book about her favourite topic - cakes.
Lynn Hill celebrated the release of The Clandestine Cake Club Cookbook with other CCC members from Bury St Edmunds at a book launch at Waterstones, in the arc, on Saturday.
The book is full of cake recipes submitted by club members from all over the country, with some also contributed by people from overseas.
Helen Johnson, who started the club’s Bury branch in May last year, said the book featured about 120 recipes, ranging from fruit cakes and chocolate cakes to more creative recipes, including celebration cakes.
She said: “The book looks fab - the design and photos are amazing and, as all the recipes are tried and tested by club members, none are beyond the reach of home bakers.”
The book is available from Waterstones and most online book retailers.
