Church to throw pancake charity bash

A church in Bury St Edmunds is looking to raise funds for our appeal to beat prostate cancer tomorrow - with a pancake party.

Southgate Church, in Caie Walk, is hoping the atmosphere isn’t as flat as the pancakes from 3.15pm until 5pm to raise much needed cash for the Bury Free Press Beat It! Appeal.

All are welcome to tuck into pancakes and raise funds.

The appeal is aiming to raise £55,000 for a new scope to detect prostate cancer for West Suffolk Hospital.
