Charity vintage tea party
A TRADITIONAL afternoon tea party, served on vintage china, will raise money for leukaemia and lymphoma research.
The tea party will be held at the West Wing at Ickworth House on October 14.
Guests will be entertained by a swing band from County Upper School, Bury St Edmunds, while they enjoy sandwiches, scones and cakes.
The event is being organised by Denise Wright, of Suffolk Vintage China Hire.
Denise said: “We will be eating and drinking out of vintage china, it will be very pretty.”
Booking for the event, which will begin a 3pm, is essential. The event is priced at £15 for adults and £3 for children, including access to the gardens of the house.
