Catering company in Stowlangtoft to share its culinary secrets

A catering firm is to share some of its culinary skills with home cooks after announcing a new ‘feaster day’.

Movable Feast in Stowlangtoft will be holding courses at Finborough School from January.

The company was set up in 1998 by husband and wife Justin and Helen Cain and now employs 50 people, catering for 100 events a year.

“It’s a chance for friends to have a day out, learn new skills and then eat what they make,” said Helen.

“It’s a sociable day covering topics such as quick suppers, soups, sticky puddings, dinner parties and entertaining. With the rise in popularity of home baking and cooking, we feel people will be keen to learn skills which will allow them to reproduce restaurant quality food at home.”
