Cash machine targeted in Needham Market
Barclays in Needham Market has been targeted by theives who tried to rip the cash machine out, leaving a rather large hole.
A POLICE investigation has been launched after a bank’s cash machine was ripped from the wall in the early hours of this morning.
Officers believe a large JCB digger was used to drive into the ATM at Barclays Bank in Barretts Lane, Needham Market, at around 3.30am.
The offender then left the area by driving off in the digger, before dumping it in a nearby field.
Barretts Lane is currently closed while police investigate.
Anyone who saw the incident can call Suffolk Police on 101.
