Candidates announced for town council by election

Two people have put themselves forward as candidates for the Bury St Edmunds Town Council ward of Risbygate.

It was announced today that there will be a by election on March 14 to choose between Labour candidate Nicola Popham of Albert Crescent, and Conservative Frank Warby of Raedwald Drive.

It follows the resignation of Ross Taylor, who left to pursue a new career in Surrey.
