A fitness business based in Bury St Edmunds is claiming a first for East Anglia with the launch of a new and exciting boxing based workout.
Liberte Fitness run by Papillon Luck has launched ClubBox at The LP bar in town.
Participants exercise to house music within the atmosphere of the club.
“The classes are based around the principles of boxing – this is not a dancercise class and we definitely focus on boxing techniques and fitness,” said Papillon.
“But we capitalise on the endorphins that the body releases and have fun and make friends during the sessions.”
The club boxing concept has already proved popular in London and other cities.
Papillon however says it is the first time that the concept has been launched in East Anglia.
She introduced boxing sessions in Nowton Park in the summer, but with the cooler weather, Papillon decided to move them indoors and start Clubbox.
We are absolutely thrilled to be entering into a partnership with Bury’s coolest venue, The LP,” said Papillon.
“The Liberte philosophy is all about working and playing hard, and so ClubBox couldn’t be more fitting.”
The sessions, on Wednesday evenings, are free to Liberte Fitness members or £10 to newcomers. Booking is essential – visit www.libertefitness.com
