Body could be missing Brandon man

POLICE believe a body that was found in the Little Ouse yesterday could be missing man, Robert Arnold.

The 65-year-old Brandon man was reported missing on May 24.

But the body of a male was found in the river near Gashouse Drive yesterday, having been spotted by an off-duty policeman just before 4pm.

Officers are now looking into the possibilitythat it is Mr Arnold, with formal identification yet to be carried out.

The death is being treated as unexplained pending the result of a post mortem.

A police spokesman said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
