Biker injured

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after coming off the road and landing in a ditch underneath his bike in Old Newton.

Emergency crews were called to the scene in Stowmarket Road at 7.50pm on Monday September 3.

The rider of the Suzuki motorbike was taken to Ipswich Hospital to be treated for possible broken bones but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
