Ben’s party raises £1,500 for charity
Liz Cummins raising money for CLIC Sargent in memory of her son Ben
A party at the Moreton Hall Community Centre, held in memory of Liz Cummins’ son Ben, has raised £1,500 for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Miss Cummins thanked all those involved in making the night a success.
Her partner Sylvia Hogg said: “It was lovely to see everyone coming there to remember Ben. We appreciated all the support and it’s great that it could make a real difference to other children.”
On Saturday, from 7.30pm, a race night, also in aid of the charity, will be held at the centre, off Symonds Road. Entry will be free.
