Awards for print and fancy dress delivery firms in our weekly business round-up

PRINT firm Kall Kwik, in Bury St Edmunds, has been named business of the year at the British Association for Print and Communication Awards.

The award follows the company’s move from Angel Hill to Eastern Way and a £130,000 investment in new large-format colour and digital printing equipment.

The firm, which has developed web design, e-shot campaign management and marketing-based print solutions, employs seven people and has plans to expand in the future.

 PREMIER Paper Group has opened a stock-holding branch in Northern Way, Bury St Edmunds.

The 10,000sqft warehouse will hold up to 600 tonnes of stock and will be served by a delivery fleet of seven vehicles.

 INNOVATIVE delivery of fancy dress costumes has seen By-Box, with a depot in Thetford, highly commended in the Hermes Retail Week supply chain awards.

Jokers’ Masquerade uses ByBox’s service to deliver costumes to collect from secure lockers at supermarkets, petrols stations, shopping centres and petrol stations – saving customers from having to wait in.

 LACY Scott & Knight is reintroducing wine auctions after wine consultant Gerald Hobson joined the team.
