Arsonists start blaze at primary school

ARSONISTS have set fire to play equipment at a school in Mendlesham.

Fire crews from Stowmarket were called to Mendlesham Primary School at 11.40pm last night to reports of a fire in the playing field.

On arrival they found that offenders had deliberately set fire to the play equipment.

The fire was put out in less than 30 minutes and the case has now been passed on to police for investigation.
