Another school in Suffolk hit by laptop burglars

Bardwell Primary School has become the latest Suffolk school to be targeted by laptop burglars.

They broke in overnight between 6.40pm yesterday (24) and 7.30pm and stole 20 Samsung netbooks valued at around £4500.

Police are looking at any possible links between this crime and recent other burglaries from schools where laptops have been stolen.

It follows similiar burglaries at schools in Risby, Rougham and Moulton.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the times stated, has knowledge of the crime or the current whereabouts of the laptops should contact PC Antony Orr at Bury St Edmunds police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
