Accountants back business show

JACOBS Allen has been announced as sponsors of the Bury Free Press Business Show.

The family run firm of professional accountants is backing the show, which is part of the Bury Business Festival in September.

The BFP Business Show last year attracted more than 300 people.

Once again it will feature a procurement workshop with the USAFE as well as a speed networking event.

Keith Senior, a director at Jacobs Allen, said “This is a showcase to encourage people to use local businesses to get great personal service, and so play their part in collaborating to help develop and grow the local economy, ensuring continued prosperity and opportunities for the community.”

Jacobs Allen, based in Abbeygate Street, was established 20 years ago.

Fellow director Paul Donno said: “We offer top-class technical expertise in tax to active use of social media marketing, coupled with true understanding of running a family business to advise what to focus on to be successful.”

Mark Stanford, events manager at Anglia Newspapers, said he was very pleased to have Jacobs Allen on board as the main sponsor of the Business show 2012.

“This prestigious local company will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the various types of business that will be exhibiting at the event and also the many visitors that are expected at the Athenaeum on Tuesday, September 18.

“We value their commitment to the Bury Free Press and our annual Business to Business show.

Stands for the show are still available. For more details, contact Mark on 01284 757810 or email him at mark.stanford@jpress.co.uk.
