Accident involving two horse boxes closes A11 slip road
AN ACCIDENT involving two horse boxes has led to the closure of a slip road leading to the A11.
Two cars, both pulling horse boxes, collided on Park Farm Drive, a slip road that joins the A11 northbound between Red Lodge and Barton Mills.
Four horses were being transported in the two boxes but police have said that neither tipped in the collision at 11.55am this morning, and all the animals are believed to be uninjured.
The cars involved in the accident were a silver Peugot Boxer and a white Iveco, police have said that it is believed no one in the cars was injured.
