The story of Nathaniel Hodson and his botanic garden project is to be told by Dr Pat Murrell at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Saturday (September 15) at 10.30am.

The illustrated lecture will embrace the early history of Hodson’s 1820 venture which saw the creation of the Abbey Gardens. Admission is £5 for public and £3 for Abbey Gardens Friends. For further information call 01284 752718 or visit www.abbeygardensfriends-burystedmunds.com
