A close shave for charity
TWO girls will have their heads shaved in front of a crowd in the centre of Bury St Edmunds to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Natasha Caulder-Ebbens, 21, and Sinead Austin, 22, decided to organise the dramatic fund-raiser after being inspired by friends and family who had battled with cancer.
Sinead, who has long blonde hair, and Natasha, who has shoulder length brown hair, will both have it shaved to a shocking number one at 1.45pm on October 6.
The friends hope their sacrifice will raise £1,000 for the charity and will be fund-raising around the arc before taking a seat in Charter Square for the shave.
Natasha said: “I’m really looking forward to it, no one has done it before, no women that I know would ever do it.”
