THE COMPETITION will be fast and furious on Sunday when West Suffolk Hospital stages It’s a Bury Knockout at Hardwick Heath.
Teams will be battling it out in a range of whacky contests while at the same time there will be family fun for all with a fete, fairground rides plus Zumba and Thai boxing demonstrations.
Moreton Hall’s Coffee House is providing cream teas while Benson Blakes will be running a Rwandan- themed barbecue.
The day is raising money for cancer diagnostic equipment at the hospital and Sport for Rwanda.
Parking is available on site but there is also a free park and ride service from Bury Rugby Club running at half hourly intervals from 10.40am.
The event is being sponsored by Carrs of Bury St Edmunds.
Jan Bloomfield, hospital executive director of workforce and communications said: “We are really excited about It’s a Knockout and want it to be the biggest and best event in Bury this summer.”
