Cakes and bakes of all shapes and sizes went on show before a panel of discerning judges at the Great West Row Bake Off on Saturday.
This year’s competition welcomed 36 entries and raised nearly £420 for the British Heart Foundation.
The judges, including Cllr James Waters, awarded prizes based on taste and presentation in 10 categories.
Winners included Jennie Manels’ creative ‘cheeseburger’ cake, complete with salad, and Nicola Cefai’s signature bake of mini Victoria sponges.
After the judging, the best entries were auctioned and all others sold to the crowd.
Organiser Sara Clark said: “We had a good turn out with some delicious entries, and the auction was very fast paced and heated.”
