TABLE spaces for this year’s jubilee celebrations in Thetford are going fast, according to organisers.
The first reservations have been made for the June 4 event which will see the Market Square festooned with bunting and flags, with space for 500 people.
The day will begin with a civic parade from Kings House to St Cuthbert’s Church where a special service will take place.
Following a free concert on Melford Common, the day will climax with a ceremony to light the Diamond Jubilee beacon on top of Castle Hill and fireworks.
To book a table for the market square, call 01842 751975. Tables can seat six people and cost £5 per table. You will have to provide your own party food and drink.
