A kaleidoscopic line-up of drama, music, comedy, dance and entertainment will top the bill for the Theatre Royal’s autumn season.

The Bury St Edmunds venue has revealed its productions from September to February with highlights including John Godber’s On the Piste and Teechers to You’re Never Too Old, starring Dad’s Army’s Ian Lavender and Hi-De-Hi’s Ruth Madoc.

The theatre will co-produce Three Men in a Boat, produce its own production of Sign of The Times and serve up a sparkling festive treat with its panto Cinderella.

During the festive season, the Ballet Theatre UK’s Swan Lake and A Christmas Carol will also grace the stage.

Music offerings include Songbird: The Music of Eva Cassidy, Buddy Holly and the Cricketers and an anniversary edition of Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music. For families there is a production of the The Princess and the Pea as well as Lionboy with circus and live percussion.

The season is sponsored by Beckett. For tickets call 01284 769505 or visit theatreroyal.org
