Hundreds of people took part in the first of Hoohaah’s four annual running events, held at Ickworth Park on Sunday.
The 10k race attracted around 377 participants, 70 more than last year, and raised vital funds for the NSPCC.
Runner Jack Tappin, who is also running the London Marathon this weekend, said: “The Hoohaah 10k was a thoroughly enjoyable experience which took a great route around the historic setting to truly showcase its beauty.
“The event was well organised and brilliantly executed, with a particularly great finishing area that provided a real lift as the commentator announced your approach to the finish line.
“It was great to have as a final race before London and I’d recommend the series to anyone looking to either get fit or stay fit through the summer as there was a real mix amongst the competitors.”
