A very special four legged friend called in to Thomas Ridley Foodservice at Rougham when Margo Harrison visited the company with her hearing dog Pebbles.

Margo, a staff nurse at West Suffolk Hospital, works with Pebbles, a two-year-old cocker spaniel after applying to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a charity supported by Thomas Ridley.

Margo, who works in the pre-admissions department volunteers for the charity and took Pebbles along to the company which presented him with a leather lead and collar.

Darren Osborn, marketing manager, said: “The bond between Margo and Pebbles is truly special and watching Pebbles assist Margo really shows the value of their relationship.”

Thomas Ridley is currently sponsoring another hearing dog, Yorkie, and was given an update on his training. The company hopes to sponsor another dog for the charity once Yorkie has completed his training.
