Hospital bug

A WARD at West Suffolk Hospital remains closed to new admissions following an outbreak of a sickness bug.

Bosses confirmed that three patients on G5 were still displaying symptoms of Norovirus yesterday.

Steps are being taken to stop the illness spreading.

However, ward G3 was due to re-open after closing last week. Anyone who visits the hospital has been urged to take extra care to wash their hands with soap and water both on arrival and when leaving.
