A TEAM of 10 Bury St Edmunds Air Cadets and instructors proved they were among the fittest when they survived a gruelling 10km challenge.
The team from 301 Squadron Air Cadets took part in the annual Men’s Health Challenge in London known as Survival of the Fittest and have their ‘Survivor medals’ to prove it.
Nick Clark, Josh Edgar, Josh DaSilva, Micheal Vaughn-Williams, Jamie Ogilby, Mark Ayre, Lloyd Clough, Will Manley, Sam Jackson and Dominic Coverley were among 6,000 entrants pitched themselves against a 10km man-made obstacle course amongst some of London’s landmarks.
Obstacles ranged from climbing A-frames and straw bales to skips of mud.
The squadron says it plans to send a team to next year’s event.
