Greene King’s Real Beer and Food Festival is to return for a fourth year next month.

And with more than 50 exhibitors already signed up, organisers say it is set to be bigger, better and tastier than ever before.

The two-day food and beer celebration will be held in the surroundings of the Bury St Edmunds-based brewery on May 18 and 19.

It will showcase the best in local produce, with samples for visitors to try before they buy.

There will also be a range of award-winning cask beers, including Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale.

Chris Houlton, managing director at Greene King Brewing and Brands, said: “We’re proud to be able to support local producers and showcase the fantastic fayre this region has to offer while offering a fun day out for local families.”

The festival also promises a Saturday night programme of live music featuring a mix of local talent.

The full line-up will be revealed closer to the event, with local bands given the chance to take centre stage.

Food stalls will be open from 10am-5pm on both days.

Live music on Saturday May 18 will continue until 10pm.

Families are welcome as children’s activities have been planned for both days.

Tickets cost £4 (under 16s are free if accompanied by an adult).

They are available from the Greene King Visitor Centre, Westgate Street, Bury, and the Apex Box Office, Charter Square, Bury.
