Leading Green councillor Mark Ereira-Guyer has revealed he will not be standing as his party’s prospective parliamentary candidate for Ipswich.

Cllr Ereira-Guyer, of Bury St Edmunds, said he had decided against standing because of his busy schedule with his work and council commitments. He has stood in General Elections to represent Bury in 1997 and 2001 for Labour and in 2010 for the Greens. The Greens are now looking for an alternative candidate.
