A MOTHER from Haughley has chosen a Chinese challenge to raise money for charity.
Jenny Thé, 35, is off on a 10-day trek of the Great Wall of China to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each).
Jenny, who runs the Old Counting House restaurant, has already exceeded her target of £2,800 after an unexpected donation of £1,000 from Cambridge Guarantee ltd. She now hopes to raise £5,000 for her charity.
Jenny said: “It’s going to be a good experience for me and I’m raising money for charity. I want to help out people that are close to home.”
Jenny is holding a fund-raising roast lunch at her restaurant on 25 April. For tickets call 01449 673617. To donate go to www.doitforcharity.com/jennythe
