Families enjoyed a fun day out at Melford Common in Thetford on Satureday and it was also a chance for dogs to have their day.
The event was opened by Thetford Town Mayor Stuart Wright and Thetford Town CrierMike Wabe advertised it in the town and then gave youngsters a chance to try their hand at being town criers during the day.
There were displays of martial arts, dancing from StreetVibe and Centre Stage as well as an adult fitness bootcamp.
The dog show, sponsored by Pets at Home, proved highly entertaining with musical doggy mats, a dog scurry and the cleverest trick.
Sharon Thompson who, along with a team of volunteers, organised the event which was part of the Thetford festival, said: “The day was very well attended and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We also had great support from local businesses who helped with equipment.”
